Planned Expansion

Building New Atlantic and Africa Travel Flows

CanAm is designed as a scalable long-haul platform. Following the initial launch phase, additional routes can be added selectively wherever passenger demand, cargo potential and network logic align.

One of the most attractive early expansion opportunities is a structured connection between the United States and Cape Town, routed efficiently through the Canary Islands. Cape Town remains one of the most desirable long-haul destinations for North American travellers, combining premium leisure demand with strong year-round appeal.

A second major pillar is diaspora and business travel to Abuja. Nigeria has one of the largest and most internationally connected populations in Africa, generating substantial travel demand from the United States, Canada and Europe. Abuja offers a high-value mix of governmental, diplomatic, business and family-related traffic.

Through the CanAm hub model, passengers gain a calm and efficient transfer experience in Las Palmas, avoiding congested mega-hubs while benefiting from smooth onward connections.

Stretch, Stroll, Connect.

After an Atlantic crossing from New York, or a longer westbound sector from Los Angeles, a short stop in Las Palmas can become part of the journey rather than a burden. Time to refresh, stretch your legs, enjoy the lounge, or take a quick shower before continuing southbound in comfort.

CanAm also opens highly distinctive one-ticket opportunities that are rarely available in a convenient format, such as:

  • New York – Cape Town
  • Washington D.C. – Abuja
  • Toronto – Abuja
  • Chicago – Dakar
  • Los Angeles – Marrakesh
  • Additional North America – West Africa links

Further destinations such as Cairo or Luxor may also become attractive future options for culturally focused long-haul travel.

All expansion routes are assessed under the same disciplined principles:

  • proven demand
  • premium yield potential
  • cargo contribution
  • operational simplicity
  • widebody fleet efficiency

CanAm does not pursue network size for its own sake. Expansion is intended to be selective, commercially sound and strategically coherent.
