Aircraft Sourcing Opportunities

Currently, Lufthansa is planning retire their remaining eight Boeing 747-400’s;-all still in excellent condition- as can be expected from Lufthansa.

The Boeing 747-400, being a massive passenger aircraft for long haul services is able to accommodate up to 500 passengers in a two-class configuration plus 30 LD1 containers for freight. Therefore the 747-400 is the prime candidate for CanAm operations.

At high load factors this iconic aircraft operates just as economical as the much newer A340-300, thereby making its introduction into service ingenious especially when the routes become increasingly well booked.

Lufthansa Boeing 747-400Consequentially, CanAm has contacted Lufthansa to negotiating a delivery contract for the last 8 remaining operational Boeing 747-400‘s from Lufthansa as follows:

CanAm would actually be most interested in a combined package which woould include professional refurbishment of the aircraft by the renowned Lufthansa Technik AG;  technically mostly a C-check- and in some cases the aircraft would require a D-Check.

As the arircraft is completely stripped during a D-check,
this is the perfect occasion to overhaul of the cabin and repaint the aircraft in the new colorful-on-white CanAm – livrée would take place, -preferrably in cooperation with Lufthansa Technik.

This fact would be valuable to use by our marketing in media communications to give the CanAm-aircraft an absolutely safe standing in the trade right from the start.

Additionally, seasoned Lufthansa Crews and Technicians could be employed by CanAm to operate from the attractive base of Las Palmas – of course only in close cooperation with Lufthansa Management.
