Reimagining the Experience: Taste, Tranquility & Thoughtfulness at 35,000 Feet

At CanAm, we believe a real meal begins with real tableware. That’s why we serve our guests on beautifully designed sustainable wooden composite plates, with genuine metal cutlery — not the flimsy plastic sporks passengers know today.

The cost? Modest — under €50 per passenger for three thoughtfully prepared meals.

The impact? Massive.

This small investment transforms the inflight experience, turning mealtime into a moment of calm and comfort, rather than a plastic-packaged pit stop. It also shortens perceived flight time, and crucially, frees our cabin crews from being reduced to airborne shopkeepers selling bottled water and chocolate bars.

And it doesn’t stop there…
This elevated hospitality isn’t just a treat for passengers — it’s a marketing instrument in itself.

Paired with a premium resort partnership in the Canary Islands, it offers a seamless, aspirational product that turns a vacation into an event.

A Classic Touch in Entertainment

While most airlines hand you an overwhelming buffet of entertainment options, CanAm goes back to basics — in the best possible way.

Onboard, we invite passengers to experience curated cinematic storytelling: just one or two classic films, shown on large-format communal screens. This shared experience fosters a rare thing in modern travel — a sense of togetherness — and helps calm the mind, rather than overstimulate it with blinking, swiping, scrolling, and forgettable plotlines.

You may not choose the movie — but you’ll remember it. And that makes all the difference.

The Sound of Silence: CanAm x BOSE

To complement this cinematic calm, we treat all guests to a pair of CanAm-branded BOSE noise-cancelling headphones — yours to keep. Yes, really.
More than a gift, they’re a symbol: of quiet luxury, attention to detail, and an invitation to experience what silence can do for the soul at cruising altitude. And as our guests carry them from flight to flight, they become flying brand ambassadors — extending CanAm’s presence into airports and lounges around the world.

A Lounge in the Clouds: Let’s Talk About Smokers

Let’s address a controversial topic — and do it boldly. At CanAm, we are exploring the reintroduction of a smokers’ lounge on long-haul aircraft. Why? Because real safety is about addressing real behavior.

There have been several documented cases of emergency descents caused by distressed smokers sneaking a cigarette in the lavatory — and unintentionally igniting the paper towel bin.

We believe the safer option —especially on long-haul flights— is a designated, ventilated lounge area, rather than pretend the behavior doesn’t exist. This will, of course, be a complex regulatory journey nowadays — but CanAm is ready to start that conversation.

Because true innovation means not being afraid to ask hard questions — just offer better answers.
