C.V. Klaus J. Lauth

Klaus J. Lauth, Dipl.-Ing. (TU)

Klaus, -today in his early 60ies- graduated from the University of Technology, Karlsruhe (KIT) in Germany in 1992 and holds an MSc-equivalent of Dipl.-Ing.(TU) in Mechanical Engineering.

Hobbies

His Hobbies include Windsurfing, Alpine Skiing, and Tennis. Also, many of the historical inconsistencies in ancient Egypt and in the history of humanity fascinate him and drive Klaus to conduct his own research in the field of pre-astronautics as a hobby.

Industrial Automation

Already during studies his attention was caught by industrial automation and already as a student designed and realized an semi- automated discharge and packing station in a fully automated robot assembly plant at Institute Tool Machines and Operations (wbk), Karlsruhe.

Later, amongst others, during his mostly international career he was engineer-in-charge for the electrical assembly of the fully automated paint facility at Mercedes-Benz MCC in France up to completion and plant commissioning, where one of his tasks was the design of the power distribution system with a total power rating of 4.4 MW.

Research Institute

Right afterwards he was recruited by the largest German Research Institute, Fraunhofer with over 16,000 employees as marketing specialist for international marketing of the many research solutions and applied research of Fraunhofer research institute, which gave him detailed insights into the field of applied research.

Data Centers

Later, during many years of residency in Ajman and Abu Dhabi he served as Chief Site Coordination Engineer for the largest Data Center Project in the Middle East, INJAZAT with >1000m² IT. In this project, his duties included Coordination of installation of Mains Power Supply, Data-, Cooling-, Smoke Detection and Fire fighting, Layout- and on-site supervision up to commissioning.

Automotive Consultant

After 2010 Klaus was involved in several hi-level consulting projects within the German Automotive Industries where he was called upon on several occasions to revamp existing plants or to double check new layouts before their installation in the role of customer second voice.

Here, he also promoted -by personal conviction- Solarthermal power for domestic use up to utility scale as well as in the Bioplastics industry in a role of general consultant for industrial plant layouts for interested parties in the middle- and Far East.

Construction Industries

Since 2015 a new field of activity has been in the construction industries. First, by invention of storm- and earthquake protection systems for wooden houses leading to a patent in 2017. Since then he has also been involved in new materials development within Smarter Habitat, including PopCorn as insulation material to replace PU and Styrofoams and here especially within process automation for the prefabricated homes industry.

Canary Islands Transport

Lastly, since 2022 his passion led him into the tourism and transport industries on the Canary Islands, where he is currently working on the CanAm project, a potentially game changing project for the Canary Islands including several stunning Real Estate projects.
