CanAm Airways builds on the legacy of early Air Travel
Most of what we consider the Golden Years of air travel is based on the image created by Pan Am during its peak in the early jet age. The Pan Am model, focusing on luxurious long-haul operations, is very rare today but still has its followers.
CanAm intends to revive the “good ‘old days” of air transport, when a “pax” was still a guest and the crew were still honorable airline professionals, stewards and stewardesses; -today sadly often degraded to cashier personnel by the company finance department.
Accordingly, the CanAm‘s outward appearance is to signify this airline aims to be different. First, by colorful outward appearance, excellent service level, on-board Spanish-influenced fusion meals, several types of cabin styles and cinematic experiences and much more…
As new airline, we also believe that passengers have suffered for far too long from long security queues, late flights, late luggage- usually in combination with the notable absence of customer service on-site and understaffed and often unhelpful answering services.
Worse even, the culinary offerings have been reduced to scarcely surpassing the quality of fast food, and on some charter flights passengers are even required to pay extra for these unremarkable experiences; – even for plain water!
Where today charter airlines inbound from Europe compete for the lowest fare, the travel experience has been drastically reduced for the passenger. Just 10 years ago you were motivated onboard of charter flights to keep drinking water to counter dehydration, on todays flights, even plain water is charged with extra $$$; – forcing crews to fiddle around with cash machines instead of taking care of their passengers!
We aim to counteract that !
-meaning not only get back to free beverages on every flight, but to give the crews back their dignity as airline professionals.
At CanAm we are fully aware that the most important asset of an airline is a good-spirited -and thereby genuinely friendly crew!
